ICAP participated in the top three new energy vehicle companies in the world. At present, it is the only private investment institution among the top ten shareholders of GAC Aian. GAC Aian plans to apply for IPO in the first half of 2023.
GAC Aian is the core carrier specialized in the development of intelligent connected new energy vehicles, which was split by GAC Group. It is the state-owned new energy vehicle enterprise with the strongest comprehensive strength in China at present. The total sales volume of the whole industry ranks third, only after Tesla and BYD. The company's No. 1 plant was put into operation in April 2019, and the production capacity of 400000 new energy vehicles was formed on October 2, 2022. At present, it has more than 7000 employees, including about 1200 research and development personnel. It is one of the few new energy vehicle enterprises in China with the ability of independent production, research and development and sales of the whole chain, and is the first EV+ICV full-stack self-research enterprise in China.
