On May 16, 2019, Ma Xingrui, Governor of Guangdong Province, and Xiuzhang Omura, Governor of Aichi County, signed an agreement on the relationship between friendly provinces and counties in Guangzhou.
As representatives of enterprises in Guangdong Province, China Southern Airlines, GAC Group and Guangzhou Mintou Investment Co., Ltd. participated in the activity of establishing friendly relations between Guangdong Province and Aichi County of Japan.
It is reported that China Southern Airlines will open a direct flight from Guangzhou to Nagoya. While continuously optimizing transportation, Guangdong is also increasing its cooperation with Japan in the field of automobile and big health industry.
